It seems a miracle to me that I remain human after so long in the field with the Zombies crawling whereever I look. Today was harder than yesterday and I fear tomorrow will be even more so. As more humans are turned, the groups of undead grow. Gone are the days when we were able to fight off the scourge two and three to one. Now we must scurry about always looking over our shoulders. Night has fallen once again and here I remain, still human despite the growing odds against me. I wish I would wake from this nightmare, for nightmare it must be. No amount of evidence given will convince me that this terror that we now face could possibly be real. I awoke this morning to find the new day chilly as it is wont to be at this time of year.
